Panel #4 Impact matters – how to measure it?

09.09. Saturday, 12:00-13:00 @ Konferenciaterem

A shared moment of reflection & valuable takeaways with experts. Taking the example of MOST, a singularly major project in the Balkan world music scene, the panel discusses how impact can be measured both short-term and long-term. What sort of impact data shall we look for as project managers, festival organisers or musicians? How and who should we communicate to about our impact?

Small-scale project impact measurement will be introduced by CEU social anthropology PhD candidate Dana McKelvey; while Ruth Jakobi provides insight on the European Music Council’s perspective, the evaluator of MOST. Patryk Galuszka, associate professor at the University of Łodz will highlight the effects of music showcases and how it can be measured. The panel is ideal for all who seek new ways to communicate the value of their events or projects to diverse stakeholders.
